Worship at Providence
At Providence, we believe worship is far more than just singing. The whole life of the Believer is meant to be an act of worship to God. But praise; out loud expression of devotion and thanksgiving, and public declaration of the nature and reality of God; is a vital part of the worship of a Christian. Praising God together with other believers is a way of life recommended with an overwhelming mountain of evidence that can be summed up in a single point. The longest book in the Bible is a collection of songs of praise, many of which are explicitly meant to be sung by God's people when they are gathered together to worship. The meaning is simple: God's people are a singing people and Providence is no exception.
What does Worship look like at Providence?
Our congregation is a mixture of people of all ages and church backgrounds. We alternate between weeks of traditional, hymn oriented music and weeks of modern worship music to serve and encourage the whole congregation. If you want to hear more, last week's worship service can be found here.
